Benelli TRK 702 X

Designed and developed entirely in Pesaro, Italy, the TRK 702 X has a unique design, with soft and dynamic lines that give this Benelli two-wheeler a very aggressive character with a strong identity. The headlight, with the dual LED unit mounted on the iconic grille, the design of the tank, with metal points that come into contact with the rider's feet is made of metal, ensure minimum volume and maximum freedom of movement, without limiting the capacity of the tank, which generously reaches 20 liters with 4 liters of reserve. With excellent fuel consumption of 4.6L/100km offering unlimited range. The TRK 702 X is rightly described as an adventure motorcycle as the autonomy adds safety and confidence to every journey.

Other features that distinguish the new TRK 702 X, which it shares with the other models in the range, are the rear handles, which are long to offer maximum passenger comfort, while at the same time being a very important stylistic feature, defining the tail of the vehicle.

It also features technical solutions that have already been used in the past, but have been modified to improve the vehicle's performance. The heart of the TRK 702 X delivers 70 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm, giving an excellent response thanks to the 7.1kgm of torque the vehicle has (51.5 kW) at 8000 rpm, always ready and dynamic. It has double overhead camshaft with 4 valves per cylinder, chain driven and crankshaft with crankshaft pins offset by 180°. It has electronic fuel injection with a 41 mm dual throttle body. The transmission unit, features a 6-speed gearbox, with a wet clutch and torque converter which significantly reduces the force to be applied to the clutch lever, while maintaining smooth and precise gear engagement.

In keeping with tradition, the motorcycle has excellent geometry thanks to the steel tubular frame that ensures maximum flexibility both on and off-road. The optimum balance of the TRK 702 X is designed to never make the rider uncomfortable, making it ideal for long rides whatever the conditions. The suspension setup features a 50mm upside down front fork and 140mm travel and an aluminium swingarm with a central monoshock with spring preload adjustment and hydraulic rebound damping, with 50mm travel (173mm at the wheel).

The braking system consists of 2 320mm diameter floating discs at the front with double-piston calipers and a 260mm diameter disc at the rear with a single-piston caliper. The 19″ front and 17″ steel-spoke alloy wheels are fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR 110/80 and 150/70 tyres for maximum traction on and off road.

Although the TRK 702 X is definitely an adventure bike, special attention is paid to comfort and performance. As with the street version, this new vehicle comes standard with a large fairing, perfectly protecting both rider and passenger. Optional heated grips and rider saddle are available, which can be easily activated from the backlit steering wheel control block to provide maximum visibility even at night. It has a full LED headlight unit and a 5" high-resolution colour TFT display, which has a Bluetooth connection in order to display incoming calls. The steering wheel controls also allow answering or ending a call. In addition, by downloading an app on the mobile phone and connecting to wifi via phone mirroring it will be possible to turn your dashboard into a navigator. Benelli's goal is for the modern rider to be able to safely and easily operate all the applications he needs during his journey.

The TRK 702 X is also available in a version for A2 licence holders with 35kw.
